Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Stereotactic radiosurgery is designed to deliver a concentrated dose of radiation to a diseased region of the brain identified by specialized imaging techniques without adversely affecting the surrounding tissue. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a non-invasive procedure that can treat both benign and malignant brain conditions. The interdisciplinary radiosurgery team includes neurosurgery specialists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists and other medical professionals.
